A Not-So-Lion King Moment!

"I've got you now!" Chloe meowed triumphantly as she pounced on Duchess. But her victory was short-lived. With a swift move, Duchess rolled over, causing Chloe to tumble towards the edge of the bed.

Before she knew it, Chloe found herself hanging precariously off the side, her back paws scrambling for purchase on the slippery comforter. Her front paws were the only thing keeping her from falling to the floor below.

Duchess! Please! Help me!” Chloe cried out in panic. She was leaving claw marks as she was slipping, desperately trying to hold on. Duchess loomed above her, with a mean look on her face. She grabbed Chloe’s paws with her own and leant in close to her, a wicked smile creeping across her face.

“Long live the Queen!” she whispered wickedly, before prying Chloe’s paws off and letting her go.

“NOOO!” Chloe cried as she went down.

POMP!

Chloe landed with a flop on the carpet, having fallen from the bed. She looked up at Duchess who was now smiling down at her. Chloe grinned back before jumping back on top of the bed and pouncing on top of Duchess.

“Round two! I’ll get you this time!” she called.

“Not if I can help it,” Duchess responded as she pinned Chloe down, “I’m not going to go easy on you just because you’re smaller than me.”
