A Tail of Rain and Rivalry - Bruno's Wet Night
Share
Bruno looked out to his kennel. It was a windy, rainy night and it was all the way across the yard! “Oh, its so wet! He said. “At least my kennel is dry and warm!”
Bruno took off toward his sanctuary, battling the cold and damp along the way. As he approaches it however, he comes to a stop and tucks his tail. There was Duchess, remarkably taking up all the space in the kennel despite being smaller than him. Though she was awake, she refused to move over so he could take shelter from the rain as well. Instead, she just stared sternly at Bruno, ears turned slightly aback.
Bruno knew what that look meant. It meant “Don’t come near me or I’ll swat you.” Knowing there was nothing he could do to get her to share with him, he chose to take shelter at the side of the kennel where the roof is barely covering him. He lay down, head on the ground looking miserable. This was going to be a very long, wet and uncomfortable night.
This comic is all about the funny side of sharing, or in Duchess's case, not sharing at all. It's a light-hearted peek at problem-solving in the pet world, perfect for kids and grown-ups to chuckle over together.
