Duchess's Snacking Nightmare
...I'll never let go. Never let go Jack…" The cinema was packed with cats and dogs, all enraptured by the scene. Duchess's eyes were welling up, moved to tears. The whole theatre was quiet, not a peep.

Duchess's ears twitched. She turned slightly, catching sight of Boxer sitting directly behind her. Typical, she thought, annoyed. A quiet scene and someone starts rifling around in their bag of chips!
CRINKLE CRINKLE SCRUNCH!
"Seriously?!" she almost blurted aloud. It was getting under her skin. "Take a deep breath Duchess, count to ten… one, two, ...." She tried to focus on the screen, her body tensing with each new sound.
CRINKLE CRINKLE SMACK SMACK CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH!!!
Duchess's eye twitched. Her whole body began to shake with rage. Her face contorted into a look of pure, unadulterated fury. She could feel her sanity slipping away with each lip smack and crunch.
"THAT'S IT!" Duchess, now completely unhinged, spun around in her seat. Her eyes locked onto Boxer, who was obliviously munching away. "BOXER! You're done for!"
In what looked like a whirlwind of fur and flying chips, Duchess launched herself at Boxer. The other moviegoers gasped in shock as Duchess went into a full-fledged feline fury. Chips scattered everywhere as she viciously attacked both Boxer and his offending snack bag.
When the dust settled, a stunned silence fell over the theatre. Duchess, breathing heavily, returned to her seat, leaving a bewildered Boxer and a mess of crushed chips in her wake. At least now she could watch the rest of the movie in peace – and so could everyone else.
