How to Play
Simple to learn, endlessly fun — here’s how a round works.
Draw a card — and keep it secret
One player is the Describer. They draw a fallacy card from the deck and don’t show it to anyone else.
Describe it — without saying the name
The Describer comes up with a scenario that illustrates the fallacy. Everyone else tries to guess which fallacy it is.
Score points — first to 10 wins
Correct guessers and the Describer each earn a point. The first player to reach 10 points wins the game!
Correct guessers and the Describer each earn a point every round. Keep playing until someone hits 10 — then the glory is theirs.

We played this at a family dinner and couldn’t stop. Even the teenagers put their phones down. We’re already planning to get another set for Christmas gifts.
I use this with my Year 10 English class to teach persuasive writing. Students actually start calling each other out on logical fallacies in their essays now. That’s a win.
Bought this as a birthday present for my partner who loves debate and critical thinking. He was absolutely delighted. We’ve now played it with three different friend groups.
